Woman ran into I-5 traffic, killed Saturday

  WHATCOM ­— A 31-year-old Bellingham woman was killed Saturday evening, Nov. 17, when she ran into the southbound lanes of traffic on Interstate 5 near the Loomis Trail Road crossing, the Washington State Patrol reports.   Amanda Jean Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene of the 5:05 p.m. incident.
