Born in Big Timber, Montana, on Aug. 10, 1938, Gordon Thompson stubbornly crossed the bar to Valhalla on Feb. 25, 2019.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Denise Dibb Thompson of Birch Bay; daughter Carlin Thompson (Chas Savage)of Bend, Oregon; cousins Lois Haddock of Ferndale, Jason and Bronson (Brandi) Nyhus of Bellingham, Arlene Collenborne of Boise, Idaho, and Per Fuglestad of Egersund, Norway; many extended family members, friends and Port Moller, Alaska, fisherman buddies.
We sincerely thank Janet Mott, PhD. We are grateful for the care Gordon received from his dedicated caregivers and nurses at Lynden Manor and Whatcom Hospice.
