Lisa Nist

  Lisa B. Nist, age 30, of Marysville, Ohio, died suddenly on Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was an administrative assistant with Jan Wilkerson Auto Care in Marysville and was a former manager at Benny’s Pizza Pub and Patio in Marysville and at the Football Bat Sports Bar and Grill in Oak Harbor.
  A brilliant and creative office manager, her skills blossomed during her teen years. At that time, she was awarded a certificate by New York State Senator Thomas Libous for her business achievements.
  A loving, loyal and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, her personality lit up the room. Her outgoing and friendly approach, bright smile and sense of humor was larger than life. She loved to be spontaneous and shocking, pretty and sparkly. She was deemed “The Princess” by her Daddy, a title and persona she kept her entire life. She loved driving her Audi with “PRINC3SS” license plates. She was a light in her mother’s life. She stood close to her mother’s side and her loved ones when her love and kindness was needed most. She was passionate about spending time with her children, liked working out and loved being with her family. Her love for her children and family was bottomless and reached no end. Lisa knew exactly how to make someone feel loved and appreciated, and always found a way to make you smile. She and her sister, Melissa, were inseparable and literally followed each other all over the world. She and her husband were soulmates, and he knew she would be his the second their eyes met.
  She was born on Feb. 24, 1986, in Johnson City, New York, and grew up in Binghamton, New York, and Oak Harbor. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Francis Hallett.
  She is survived by her husband, David W. Nist; her children, Derek, Emily, Jenna, Kylee and Mya; her mother and step-father, Bernadine and Bill Kramer of Ferndale; her siblings, Melissa (Rick) Bradley of Marysville, Christopher, Michelle and Victoria; her father- and mother-in-law, Ron and Chris Nist of Delaware; a brother- and sister-in-law, Jeff and Celeste Nist; her nieces and nephews, Katie, Hannah, Colbie, Emma, Gabe and Rhett; and many other relatives and friends.
  A memorial service celebrating her life was held on Monday in Underwood Funeral Home, 703 E. Fifth St., Marysville, Ohio 43040. Private interment will be held in Oakdale Cemetery.
