Marilyn Vermeulen

Screen Shot 2015-09-10 at 9.51.32 AM  Marilyn (Orange) Vermeulen of Everson passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015. She was 71 years old. Marilyn was born on April 25, 1944, in Bellingham to John and Johanna (Duim) Orange. She was one of five children. Marilyn attended Ebenezer Christian School and later graduated from Lynden Christian School. After graduation, she attended Bellingham Business College. She married John Bosman in 1964. Marilyn later married Tony Vermeulen on Dec. 12, 1986. Marilyn worked for Baron Communications and the Baron family for many years.
  Marilyn was an active member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church. She was a leader in Bible Study Fellowship for many years and currently volunteered at the Second Chance Thrift Store. She loved and adored spending time with her grandchildren, attending all of their many activities.
  Marilyn is survived by her children, Brenda and Randy Cienfuegos, Galen Bosman and Shara and Jeff Davis; stepson Gary and Doreen Vermeulen; grandchildren Preston, Kyle, Kayla (Trent), Shaylee, Tyler, Keelan, Kale and Logan; two great-grandchildren, Demi and Kobe and one on the way; brother John (Joann) Orange; sisters Jeanne Meenderinck, Jackie (Herman) Oordt and Margaret (Herm) Heusinkveld; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
  Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.
  A family graveside committal will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at Monumenta Cemetery followed by an 11 a.m. memorial service in Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 1105 Liberty St., Lynden.
