Marlene Joan (Bauman) Broersma
Marlene Joan (Bauman) Broersma went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 9 at 3:40 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bellingham.
Marlene was 84 years old at the time of her passing. She will be dearly missed by her numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held in celebration of Marlene’s life on April 22 at Grace Baptist Church in Lynden where she had been a member for the last 20 years of her life.
A memorial service will also be held in Artesia, California at a later date to lay her to rest with her husband Garrett and son Lane at the Artesia Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gillies Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
