Martha Arlene Houlgate
Martha Arlene Houlgate went to be with God on Monday, March 13 at the age of 85. She was a Christian mother who created family for us.
As a sister of the Portal Way Church of Christ, Martha had many friends and was a beloved member of the Ferndale community.
Martha also served the Ferndale Heritage Society and owned Total Data Service in Ferndale. Martha was predeceased by her parents Jack Keller of Long Beach, CA, and Hazel Campbell and is survived by her husband, John Houlgate, brother Dr. Jack Keller, her sons James, Dennis and Robert Kronewitter and daughters, Julie Knight, Cindy Croft and Maggie Belew, 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Martha’s graveside service is at 2 p.m. Friday, March 24 at Greenacres in Ferndale. A memorial will be held at Portal Way Church of Christ on Saturday, March 25 at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited to join us for these celebrations.
