Robert Moore

  Lynden resident Robert L. Moore, age 88, died on Friday, June 17, 2016, in the Christian Health Care Center. He was born on Jan. 12, 1928, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Howard and Maxine (Buchholtz) Moore.
  As an adult, Bob’s career took him to Alaska where he became director of transportation for the state of Alaska. Upon retirement, he and his wife, Patricia, traveled and then settled in Lynden.
  A kind and thoughtful man by nature, Bob will be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
  He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, in 2011. Bob is survived by daughter Sally (William) Kaley and his beloved canine companion, Thor.
  At his request, no services will be held.
  Arrangements are entrusted to Gillies Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Lynden.
