Robert Nichols, 61, of Clyde, North Carolina passed away peacefully at Spicewood Cottages on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Carl and Deanna Honcoop Nichols and his sister, Mary Nichols.
Bob is survived by his sisters, Karin (Jim) Clancy of Pasadena, Maryland and Lauri (Todd) Kemmerling of Waynesville, North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Sean, Megan and Casey Applegate, Jared and Tyler Kemmerling along with Shannon Clancy.
In Bob’s free time he enjoyed playing chess with the Smoky Mountain Chess Club. He was a kind person with a great sense of humor whom will be dearly missed and will be always in our hearts.
