Ronald Dean Rutgers
Ronald Dean Rutgers, 71 went to be with the Lord Tuesday evening, March 21, in hospice care.
Ron lived most of his life in Lynden and graduated from Lynden High School in 1970.
Ron was born with a disease affecting his legs, hips and back bone.
It made walking difficult for him all his life and eventually he was not able to walk and used a wheel chair. Ron moved to Albuquerque in 2016.
Ron was a member of 2nd Christian Reformed church all his life.Ron is preceded in death by his parents Roger and Alma. He is survived by his five siblings: Sharon Hendricks of Lynden, Shelli Weber of Terrace B.C., Chris Hughes of Albuquerque, Scott and Brent of Albuquerque.
Ron will be interned in Greenwood Cemetery on the Wiser Lake Road.
