Sheila Lorraine Smith, age 72, passed away suddenly on March 7, 2019, at her home in Auburn, Washington.
Sheila was born Nov. 4, 1946, to Neil and Carol (Elsbree) Smith in Bellingham and attended school in Lynden. She was employed by Auburn General Hospital and retired in 2017. On Aug. 10, 1981, she married Douglas Lohman.
She is survived by her sons Wade Smith of Virginia Beach, Robert (Jacquelyn) Smith of Snohomish and daughter Danielle Pates of Lakewood; nine grandchildren, Jordan, Amanda, Corey, Elijah, Dominque, Isaiah, Xavier, Alexander and Sierra; her mother, Carol Vrieling of Bellingham; and brothers Steven (Leah) Smith of Bellingham, Michael (Becky) Smith of Deming, Mark (Karen) Smith of Ferndale and Keith Smith of Deming.
She was predeceased by her husband, Doug Lohman; her father, Neil Smith; her step-father, George Vrieling; and her brother Kim Smith of Minnesota.
At her request there will be no service.
