Walter Creasey

Screen Shot 2015-05-27 at 2.18.22 PM  Walter Creasey was born on July 25, 1934, in Bellingham to Ralph and Nettie Creasey. He passed away on Jan. 25, 1915.

Walter grew up in Custer. He enjoyed playing football at Custer and Ferndale High School. He married Darlene Morsman on July 21, 1953.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene, and children Walter Jr., Jennifer, Barry and Shawn.

Walter joined Boy Scouts with his son Walter Creasey Jr. He went on to be Scout Master for Ferndale. He received the Scouters Award, The Silver Beaver Award and the Order of the Arrow. He is a past commander of the American Legion, Ferndale.

Walter moved with his wife and children in 1995 to Silver Lake where he enjoyed fishing. His favorite activity was enjoying his 1952 class breakfast with friends.

The celebration of Walter’s life originally scheduled for May 30 has been postponed until further notice.
