Larry E. Vail, 84, of Bellingham (formerly Lynden), surrounded by his family, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 9, 2017, in Bellingham. He was born in Sumas to parents Lyle and Violet Vail.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Frankie Vail; two sons, Steve and Clark Vail; and his sister, Dodie Kleindal.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Darlene; daughter, Cathy and her husband Rick Aufrecht; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Tam (Paul) Insley, Pat Timboe and Gerry (Norm) Haveman; a brother, Mike (Linda) Vail; and numerous nieces and nephews.
