Nadine M. Loreen, age 79, of Renton, passed away Nov. 19, 2017.
She was born March 4, 1938 in Bellingham to Ned and Myrtle Rogers. Nadine lived in the Sumas area and attended Nooksack Valley High School, graduating in 1956. She retired in 2000 from Southern Heights Elementary School as an office manager. In retirement she traveled with her husband and her best friend and sister Allene and Gary Davis. They enjoyed cruises, trips across Canada, Alaska and many more. She loved to be on the go. She was also the family go-to for information about any sport — she knew the answer. When not on the go, she enjoyed reading and meeting friends for lunch. Nadine also loved time spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Stan Loreen; daughters Teresa Quinlan of Enumclaw, Kimberly Loreen (Ron Nichols) of Kent; son Doug (Dawn) Loreen of Renton; six grandchildren, Shane MacDonell, Kaylee (Derek) Benz, Amy Loreen, Mark Loreen, Quincy Loreen and Aleah Quinlan; great-grandson Griffin Benz; her sister, Allene Davis of Lynden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nadine was loved by many and will truly be missed. At this time no service is scheduled.
