Olive Curtis

Olive Rosalind Curtis, 91, of Bellingham, passed away on April 7, 2017 while residing at Rosewood Villa. Olive was born on Dec. 28, 1925 in Straiton, B.C., to Charles and Stella Keeping. She had three siblings, Allen, Nellie and Maxine.

Olive met a dashing American, Norm Curtis, while in high school and they married four years later in 1945. Norm and Olive had 73 years together enjoying a big life: farming, gardening, sewing, cooking, raising three kids, teaching school, having adventures, enjoying many grandkids, great-grands, family and friends.

Olive is survived by Norman; and daughters Pat (Mike) Cassal and Leora (Gary) Willis and son Lawson (Val) Curtis, who all live nearby.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Lemley Chapel, 1008 Third St., Sedro-Woolley, followed by lunch and togetherness at the Sedro-Woolley Community Center.
